Local Election Debate at Miltton

With the Estonian local government elections approaching on October 19, the Scandinavian Chamber of Commerce in Estonia, together with our member Miltton, hosted an engaging Election Debate on October 2.

The event was co-organized in cooperation with the Finnish-Estonian Chamber of Commerce (FECC), the British-Estonian Chamber of Commerce (BECC), the French-Estonian Chamber of Commerce (CCEF), and the Holland Business Club, bringing together representatives from Estonia’s leading political parties for an open and lively discussion on key issues ahead of the elections.

Participants:
– Yoko Alender, Reform Party
– Aleksei Jašin, Eesti 200
– Karl Sander Kase, Isamaa
– Madle Lippus, Social Democrats

The debate was expertly moderated by Sandra Kamilova from Miltton, who guided the discussion with clarity and energy, encouraging both the panelists and the audience to engage actively. The evening featured a vibrant exchange of ideas and many thoughtful questions from participants, reflecting strong interest in the topics discussed.

The event began with a networking mingle over drinks and snacks, setting a friendly and open atmosphere before the debate. We are grateful to Miltton for hosting us and to all the co-organizing chambers for making this evening a success.

We hope everyone left the event with new insights — and perhaps a clearer idea of who they’ll be voting for on October 19!
