On 16th of December, the Scandinavian Chamber of Commerce in Estonia hosted a Scandinavian Executive Breakfast at NJORD Law Firm in Tallinn, bringing together members for a timely and insightful discussion on Estonia’s defence outlook.
We were honoured to welcome Hanno Pevkur, Minister of Defence of Estonia, who shared reflections on the current security environment, ongoing defence initiatives, and strategic priorities for the years ahead. In a time marked by global uncertainty, the opportunity to hear directly from the Minister provided valuable context and perspective.
During his remarks, the Minister addressed how Estonia is approaching long-term defence planning, cooperation with partners, and preparedness in a changing geopolitical landscape. The session offered participants a clearer understanding of the considerations shaping Estonia’s defence strategy today.
Following the presentation, participants had the opportunity to ask questions and reflect on the topics discussed. While time was limited, the exchange highlighted strong interest in continued dialogue between the business community and key decision-makers.
The breakfast was very well received by participants, and the Executive Breakfast format once again proved to be an appreciated platform for open reflection and knowledge-sharing.
