On May 29, members of the Scandinavian Chamber of Commerce in Estonia gathered at Tallink City Hotel for another engaging Executive Breakfast, this time focusing on artificial intelligence and its growing impact on businesses and society.
While our originally announced guest speaker, Mari-Liis Lind from Eesti.ai, was unfortunately unable to attend due to illness, we were delighted to welcome Katrin Isotamm, who leads the population upskilling track within the Eesti.ai initiative.
During the session, Katrin shared valuable insights from Eesti.ai’s pilot workshops and ongoing efforts to support AI adoption across Estonia. Participants learned more about how organisations are beginning to integrate AI into their daily operations, the challenges they encounter, and the opportunities that AI presents across both the public and private sectors.
The discussion quickly became highly interactive, with participants sharing experiences, questions, and perspectives from their own organisations. Topics ranged from practical implementation and productivity gains to workforce development, trust in AI systems, and the evolving role of employees in an increasingly AI-driven workplace.
Particular attention was given to how different industries may experience the impact of AI in different ways, and how businesses can prepare their teams to work effectively alongside new technologies rather than viewing them solely as a disruption.
The breakfast once again demonstrated the value of bringing together business leaders and experts to discuss emerging trends that are shaping the future of the Nordic and Estonian business communities.
We would like to extend our sincere thanks to Katrin Isotamm and the Eesti.ai team for joining us and sharing their experiences and insights. We also wish Mari-Liis Lind a speedy recovery and hope to welcome her to a future Executive Breakfast.
Thank you to everyone who participated and contributed to the lively discussion.
