On a sunny Sunday afternoon, members of the Scandinavian Chamber of Commerce in Estonia enjoyed a memorable visit to Alpakafarm OÜ in Tori.
Our hosts, Kai Ødegårdstuen and Kaja Varmison, welcomed us with a guided tour of their inspiring farm, where we had the opportunity to meet and feed alpacas, llamas, sheep, goats, rabbits, and more. The experience gave us a closer look at the animals as well as the fascinating story of how the farm was built from scratch, without any prior background in farming.
The highlight of the day was the delicious waffles with brown cheese and jam served by our hosts, which perfectly rounded off the visit in a relaxed and warm atmosphere. Many of us also brought home alpaca wool products from the farm shop — a beautiful way to carry a piece of the day with us and to be prepared for the autumn ahead.
A big thank you to Kai and Kaja for their hospitality and to all our members who joined us for this family-friendly event.
