On the 20th of March members of the Scandinavian Chamber of Commerce in Estonia had the pleasure of visiting Scania Baltics, one of the world’s most recognized leaders in sustainable transport solutions. The visit offered a rare behind-the-scenes look into Scania’s operations, values, and future-oriented approach.
The afternoon began with a warm welcome, coffee, and a presentation that gave attendees valuable insight into Scania’s work in the Baltic region, their journey toward sustainable transport, and their long-term vision for the industry.
We then explored Scania’s showroom, where guests had the chance to see their latest range of trucks and vehicles up close — a highlight for many. This was followed by a guided tour of the workshop, where we got to observe how Scania’s expert technicians work with cutting-edge tools and technology to repair and maintain heavy vehicles.
One of the key takeaways from the visit was hearing about “The Scania Way” — an approach that emphasizes care for employees, long-term thinking, and continuous improvement. Their strong workplace culture and commitment to innovation truly stood out.
Throughout the visit, participants had the opportunity to ask questions and engage in open discussion, with Scania tailoring the agenda to match our members’ interests — whether focused on sustainability, logistics, or industry developments.
A big thank you to the team at Scania Baltics for hosting us and sharing their knowledge and passion. It was an inspiring and informative afternoon that perfectly reflects the spirit of the Chamber: learning, connecting, and growing together.
