17th of May Celebration – Honouring Norwegian Constitution Day at Tehasemaja

On May 17th, the Scandinavian Chamber of Commerce in Estonia hosted a joyful and well-attended celebration of Norwegian Constitution Day at Tehasemaja in Tallinn. The event brought together families, friends, and members of the Scandinavian business community to mark one of Norway’s most cherished national holidays in a festive and authentic setting.

The celebration began with a traditional 17th of May parade, complete with flags and smiles, followed by a cheerful gathering where attendees could enjoy classic Norwegian hotdogs, generously sponsored by R-kiosk, along with treats and refreshments provided by Orkla.

A special highlight of the event was when the Norwegian Ambassador shared a greeting from His Majesty King Harald V, bringing a meaningful and official note to the day’s festivities.

Children enjoyed a variety of outdoor games and activities, making the event not only a cultural celebration but a fun family afternoon as well.

We extend our sincere thanks to everyone who joined us, to our sponsors Tehasemaja, R-kiosk and Orkla, and to the Norwegian Embassy for their participation and support.

This event reflected the strong community spirit and Nordic friendship that the Chamber is proud to promote. We look forward to celebrating again next year — and to continuing to build shared traditions in Estonia.
