8th Annual Tennis Tournament: A Day of Competition, Connection, and Chamber Spirit

On May 6, the Scandinavian Chamber of Commerce in Estonia hosted its 8th Annual Tennis Tournament with great energy and enthusiasm at the Chamber’s Royal Member Tallink’s Tennis Centre in Tallinn.

This much-anticipated event brought together 20 players in a mixed doubles format, creating a perfect blend of competitive play and community spirit. The tournament’s group stage was packed with exciting matches and close scores, with four teams finishing with an equal number of wins — making for a particularly thrilling and hard-fought road to the finals.

In the end, it was Riin Liplik and Janno Äniline who claimed the winner’s cups after a competitive final against Jonas Heinonen and Ken Pirnpuu. The third-place match saw Inge Suder and Mart Nõmper defeat Kadri Kirss and Janar Sutt, earning their spot on the podium.

As always, the atmosphere reflected the Chamber’s core values: sportsmanship, friendly competition, and cross-border friendship. After a full day of matches, the event concluded with smiles, celebration, and new connections forged on and off the court.

A heartfelt thank-you goes out to all the participants and to our valued supporters:
Tallink Grupp, Radisson Blu Olumpia Hotel, Park Inn by Radisson Meriton Conference & Spa Hotel Tallinn, NJORD Advokaadibüroo, Greencarrier, and our generous host Tallink Tennisekeskus — your support made this fantastic event possible.

We look forward to seeing you at the courts again next year!
