Valdemarsdagen

June 14 @ 12:00 pm – 2:30 pm
On June 15th, we celebrate Valdemars Day – the day when, according to legend, the Danish flag Dannebrog fell from the sky over what is now Estonia. This year, we’re marking the occasion with a unique and family-friendly event: an exclusive tour of a DFDS vessel docked at the Port of Paldiski!
🔹 Time: Please gather at 11:45 outside the ship
🔹 Location: Port of Paldiski (DFDS terminal)
🔹 Who: Members only – children are warmly welcome!
🔹 Cost: Free of charge
🚢 What to Expect:
- Welcome and check-in at the port
- Guided tour of the ship, including:
-
- A visit to the Captain’s bridge – see how the ship is steered and operated!
- An inside look at various passenger cabins
- Behind-the-scenes insights into daily life onboard
- The tour concludes with snacks and coffee in one of the onboard café.
This is a rare opportunity for both adults and children to experience life at sea and celebrate the day the world’s oldest flag is said to have been born – all while enjoying the maritime atmosphere together.
