We recently had the pleasure of visiting FORS MW in Saue – an insightful and well-organised visit that gave us a closer look into one of Estonia’s long-standing manufacturing companies.
With over 30 years of experience, Fors MW is a family-owned business with Swedish ownership and management, operating a full-scale production facility covering everything from design and development to final assembly. It was particularly interesting to see how much of the production is still carried out locally, with a strong focus on quality and craftsmanship.
During the visit, we gained a better understanding of their international reach, with the vast majority of their production exported through a global network of partners. At the same time, we had an open discussion about the realities of today’s manufacturing environment, where recent years have brought a number of challenges for the industry.
